Had a drive out on Rudland Rigg today.
A nice easy lane on a hard surface that you could drive all year with out chewing it up.
All in it took 2 1/2 hours to complete and could be driven in a shiny by a novice (like me).
Beautiful views and a nice steep rocky descent at the north end, would be a good climb traveling south
It could be worth a group trip if you are fairly local to the area as there is another good lane at Glaisdale Rigg not far away.

There is however a pay and play venue nearby that charges £15 for a half day.
