Hi everybody. I am a relativly new owner and learning. Can anyone help.
The "check trans" warning light insists on blinking especially when oil is cold. Seems to get better when hot. Oil level ok. Also the auto is very sensitive and often changes down too readily, especially when towing.
Car is Bighorn 1993, 3.1 lotus green and I think it is a lot of car for the money so want to get this sorted. Does anyone know of an auto gearbox specialist in the West Midlands?
Where can I get a Workshop Manual?

Where abouts in West Mids are you? There is a good Auto Box place in Cannock, but before looking him up I recommend you try a good auto electrician first as the sensors are usually to blame. ATF temp sensor especially. _________________ 94 Big Horn 3.1 Lotus Auto

Thanks MartQ. I have already decided to go to an auto electrician.
Do you know where I can get a workshop manual for a Bighorn 3,1? I live in Redditch. |

There is a manual available for download in the gen tech section, although it doesn't cover the 3.1 bighorn auto box, but it is close enough to give you an idea. Check the auto box shifting thang post. _________________ 94 Big Horn 3.1 Lotus Auto

This is an ongoing saga but i think we're getting close!
As for a (workshop) manual on the 3.1 Bighorn. Don't hold your breath. _________________ 1999 Cougar with a NICE motor..
