HI can anyone help,i have just recently purchased bighorn from a garage,went out sunday off road and four wheel drive would not work,i tried everything,when i engaged 4h no light came on dash,it wasnt fun getting stuck in mud,vehicle has 3months warranty,its going back to garage,but i dont think they checked 4x4 before sale,not quite sure what to do next

Its probably just a loose wire on the front if its the shift on the fly model, if not see if its got manual locking hubs fitted, that caught rabbit out on his first day out  Smile

Also with auto hubs you need to select 4x4 before you lose traction or they wont engage.

Mine do Shocked

Surely if the front propshaft is turning, they take up at the hub Question

I've got stuck in 2WD a couple of times  Embarassed  towing the caravan of a muddy field, engage 4WD and driven off as if nothing was ever wrong!

thanks for all your help with 4x4,the garage i bought it from found vacumm pipes hanging off,i now have light and all four wheels are engaging,anyone know of any good tracks near devon Smile
