Sad

When we bought our Trooper ('94 3.1 Duty) we did not get the radio code!! Recently had a new clutch fitted and yes you've guessed disconnected the battery so now no radio. Can anyone help:

i) Can the radio be removed, if so how?

ii) Where can we get the radio de-coded (live near York)?

iii) Alternatively has anyone experience of fitting a Radio/CD?

Thanks in advance
Malcolm

Hi Malcolm
Fitting is relatively easy. Above the radio are two screws, undo them and using a very thin screwdriver ease the heater control part of the dash upwards whilst gently pulling the radio console towards the gear stick. Once the top is clear using the screwdriver work down each side of the console which is held in using push spring clips. Once out you can get to the back of the radio without a problem.
