It is better imo, more bhp and better fuel economy, and if you fit a cut off switch it stops the engine bay being splattered when playing _________________ |

If you don't mind me asking, how much did the fans & thermoswitch cost? _________________ 94 Big Horn 3.1 Lotus Auto

Great result, but let me ask you - as the 3.1 runs pretty cool anyway, do you think 2 fans were necessary or could you get away with just one?
Do you know what the CFM rating of the fans is? _________________ 1999 Cougar with a NICE motor..

hi hard1 ,yes you could us one fan i fitted 2 for show realy, the cfm is 865 for each fan ,while the cubic metres per second is 3.56 each. I put 2 on so that it is on top of its job ,dont forget that there is no cowling round the fans with 2 but with one you could retain it . I run mine through 2 fused relays to be safe . The fans draw 4.4 amps each . Hope this is some help to you . |
