Hello all any one familiar with this i have a 1988 2.6i 5 manual LWB trooper and i have a noise that i can not pin point as you pull away and get to about 15 20 mph there is a noise it is quite loud and sounds like the car is in 4 low revving higher than actually is it is all the way up to 60 and sounds like it has stopped but is still just there, when it is at it worst is at about 40,50 mph and you can feel a slight vibration through the floor at the front of the car both drivers and passenger side dont no what else to say but if some one can steer me in the right direction or want more info i will do my best to answer.

i have had a quick pull and poke underneath there is a bit of play on all the joints but the one at the gearbox entry is a lot worse if you hold the prop at front before the centre bearing and hold the short one that enters the box you can pull it and twist it and it does move a fair bit have got some new joints that i am going to put in but time is a factor at mo.

You have to upload them to something like Photobucket, then link them to here.
