Hi all

As usual, the 4X4 indicator on the dash board will only light on when  4X4 gear - 4H or 4L is engaged. Unfortunately, after I replaced a new clutch plate, the indicator won't goes off even the gear is engaged at the normal 2L position. What's actually went wrong with the system, Is anybody out there has the same experience to share. Mine is 3.1D intercooler turbo green engine 1997. Thanks

Sounds about right Quiet one - Is the switch connected to the gearbox - if so, was the connection re-connected when everything was mated back up? It might be worth having a fish around the centre console to see where the switch is if it's not visible from underneath.
