MK4 ... the MK3 is the 3.1td motor with the facelift dash from 1995 onwards.

Almost forgot... a lot of people still get confused... especially when asking about accessories. The best way to check is any 98 "S" plate onwards is a MK4.

To be honest, I couldn't recommend fitting A bars, side steps or roof bars to a Canadian canoe. Matter of opinion, of course.

Ooo - no idea on the suppliers, I will say check the brackets for the side steps before you buy... i have just removed my steps after the box section filled with crud and rusted thru! I would say well painted angle iron or sealed box section is the way to go.

actually chris, ive just had a look at the underneath of mine and even tho it aint been offroad (soon will b) the box section has already got a covering of rust so it looks like a good wirebrushing and a coating of waxoil or hammerite
it either that or take the steps off but i kinda like em so looks like the wirebrush hahahahaha
