|

Thought I would post about Autoaid breakdown cover, for £32 per year it covers you and your partner driving any vehicle, it is a claim back cover, where you call the number provided and then pay the recovery company via credit card, you then send the reciept to Autoaid and they reinburse you, usually in under two weeks, so you are never out of pocket.
I find it good as it covers my motor bike as well, I also checked with the admin department to ensure they cover the Trooper as it's a 4x4 and they confirmed they do.
Here is the link.

Just a quicky all you peeps with 7 seaters be carefull they will only recover 5 and you
[quote]If the vehicle cannot be repaired at the scene of the breakdown, we will arrange and reimburse any reasonable cost of taking the vehicle, you and up to 5 passengers from the place where the vehicle has broken down to anyone place you choose.
If the vehicle breaks down at your home or within one mile of your home, we will arrange help and reimburse any call-out fees and labour charges needed to start the vehicle. If the vehicle cannot be repaired quickly at the scene of the breakdown, we will reimburse the reasonable cost of taking the vehicle to the nearest available garage. The maximum reimbursement under this benefit ONLY is £45.
Not knocking it seems very cheap but look into cover for that extra person, and get a quote for the cheapest call out charge for a mobile machanic...
