My son has a 1995 3.1TD Citation LWB Trooper. It has been running perfectly with no problems at all. He went out yesterday and then returned home - switched vehicle off and then returned to it within 5 mins. It was turning over OK but refused to fire up.
Called RAC out did but they did not instill a great deal of confidence but he suggested it was the stop solenoid on the fuel pump.
Vehicle is also fitted with a toad immobiliser.
Does the diagnosis sound right - are there any other checks we can do to tie the problem down?
Vehicle is serviced regularly and in fairly good nick.

I may be imagining this but I am sure I have read somewhere that quick restarts can sometimes cause problems with imobilisers (but I may be talking out of my ****)

I'm sure someone will be on later to help (oh and get your son to register and then we can help him Smile)
