Hi All. I have had my Trooper 3.1td for 2 yrs now. Although it has done 150000mls it has a full service history (every 5000mls). Just lately it has developed a tapping noise (not too disimilar to the camshaft on the old Cortina's but not so loud) from cold which all but disapears when fully warmed up. It is only a single tap which increases/decreases with engine revs. Oil pressure OK And have had the valve clearances set by my local garage during a recent service. It runs fine, just the tapping is getting anoying. Any ideas anyone.
