Help please.  94/95 Vauxhall Monterey (Izusu Trooper) standing in my drive for two weeks.  Told imobilliser cannot be disconnected and cannot get new one as over 10 years old and spares no longer stocked, driving me nuts.  Was told to disconnect battery for 24 hours to reset computer - worked twice and will not work now.  English mechanic over here is also baffled after many phone calls to the UK  - Any solutions welcome with open, very grateful arms - stuck!!!

hi had the same propb with my 96 petrol montery had its nuts cut of at a spark in moreton on the wirral think it cost £40 didnt take him long by the time i got home had to come out again to pick car up.
it could also be the starter as i belive it can have a knock on afect and trip the alarm !  Confused
