I'd like a bodylift for my Bighorn (4-6inches) but don't want to do it myself. Is there any UK firms anyone knows of or anyone on here who can do this for me?
I'm not really interested in all the tech. advice, thanks, I just want to hand over the car for the work to be done, pay the bill then go get me some new diffs and big wheels.
Thanks.

It might be worth looking at a suspension lift too... the body lift only adds space between your body and chassis and doesnt actually give you more ground clearence.

Upsizing to 265/75/16 tyres will give you an instant 1" lift at the axles... the suspension can then be lifted (with some work) up to 4"  ... have a look in the garage section at MrTwisters motor.

As for somebody to do it... there are a host of companies in the UK that appear under google searches for "overland preparation" or "4x4 preparation"

e.g.  Nene Overland

If you are desparate for a body lift then try LA Supertrux.  They are said to be the bees knees!

A 4 to six inch lift is a big lift, it will seriously alter the way your vehcile handles as the centre of gravity will be that much higher.  I'd go for maybe a smaller body lift alongside a suspension lift that way you'll still be able to get bigger tyres under.

Thanks guys - I did actually know about the different issues (ie. C of G raising, handling etc.) as I've been offroading for years which is why I want someone else to do the work this time. I can't be bothered to do the stuff myself anymore and just wondered if you lot had any reccomendations.
LA Supertrucks look like a good bet - have any of you any direct experience of their work? I don't mean their mail order services but their actual workshop services - are they as good as they claim?

What about Frogs Island4x4

They have a seriously good rep regarding prep work for 4X4's in their workshop.

not being funny, but why not do yourself? - there's about 6 body mounts, a possible exention to the steering column, a lengthner on the gear sticks, and a play with the break / clutch pipes, it seems a little strange paying a company £1k - £1.5k for the honor?!?
