Hi

Does anyone's insurance specifically insure them for off-road use? This is a concern I have as I'm looking to buy a 4x4 to have some fun in but don't want to end up with a seriously huge bill if it all goes wrong in a quarry somewhere. I once watched a Land Rover owner drive his into a lake up to the roof! He had a high level air intake but even with him revving the engine while holding his head above the water, he couldn't stop it dying!

S'pose it taught him a lesson. Maybe.
