Can anyone tell me where I can buy a steering wheel boss kit for our, 1995 2050cc LWB Bighorn. I have purchased one from Halfords who assured me and showed me on their computer that it was the right one for the car. The wheel I have fitted perfectly to the boss, but the boss itself, although fitting to the column spline as it should do, the metal guide on the underside (With two small holes in it) is to short to operate the indicator cancel mechanism of the car. After taking it back to Halfords they told me it was a Universal Boss Kit that should have fitted and they could not help me other than that !!!  They then offered me a voucher against future purchase. I finally got my cash back after speaking with the manager, but no further help with the boss kit. Great Customer Service Eh !! I would be very grateful for any help with this as the wheel I have is a full size wheel made in Italy of the wooden type. And retails at around £200. Very comfortable to drive with and quite stylish as well. We live in the Bournemouth Area of Dorset. But would even purchase via mail order if the kit was right. There is no airbag fitted to our car just the normal wheel with center horn. Many Thanks in advance for any reply.

the only thing i can think of is the lotus bighorn was fitted with a Momo leather wheel as standard so the boss off that certainly fits the column so maybe find a second hand one or a momo supplier
