Just bought a 1996 Trooper 3.1 Turbo Diesel Duty. I want to know if it's fairly straightforward to replace the fuel filter. It has a water separator I believe. Anything I should be careful with?

Fill the filter with fuel before fitting and bleed it, keep tapping it on the side  for a few mins then bleed it again  Smile

I have a 92 3.1 TD Bighorn and bought a set of filters from Milners but replacing the fuel filter looked a bit difficult to me but possibly because I am not mister mechanical so any advice about how you go about it would be good for me too

Sounds pretty straightforward. What about the water separator, does that need to be emptied?
