That seems low even before the recall work, I just had ours done on Monday, prior to work being done it was doing about 35mpg I'll be filling up again soon so I'll be checking it again in a couple of weeks. _________________ Trooper Citation MK4 3.0TD LWB (DOHC) Black.

35mpg do you push it along instead of driving???
The "Combined" figure according to Parkers guide is 27mpg ... most guys here seem to get between 23 and 29mpg depending upon their driving style etc.
I would say 20mpg is a little low (unless you have lead foot / heavy trailer) _________________ Isuzu Rodeo Denver Max LE | 265/65R18 BF Goodrich AT LTM No.60

I have never had worse than 22 and that was towing caravan and with a roof box one and never better than 29
20 seems low but 35 seems a dream (no offence meant Celticwitch) _________________ 3.0TD LWB Citation |

I think i know how celtic witch gets 35mpg, the engine is only running on the flat and uphill *remembers thread about it _________________ |

They were very rough calculations, I'll be a bit more acurate on the next tank of fuel. _________________ Trooper Citation MK4 3.0TD LWB (DOHC) Black.

The best I've ever managed from a tankful was about 33mpg footling around at 30 or 40 mph on holiday in Scotland. With my normal mix of town & motorway driving, I usually get between 25mpg and 27mpg - and I reckon I'm particularly light-footed (brakes and tyres last forever - and I'm still on the original clutch at 125,000 miles). In reality, my speedo (and odometer) read about 7% high - so I probably get a bit less than that.
I cannot imagine how you can consistently get 35mpg. Have you got a GPS that you can use to check your speedo calibration?
Cheers

When i'm up to speed it only needs half the pedal to keep it there! _________________ Isuzu Trooper SWB 3.0DT Commercial |

Will have a look in my book at before and after recall MPG, but mine has averaged about 23MPG since i have had it. But i probably average up to half the week towing a trailer and am often in a bit of a rush! _________________ Isuzu Trooper SWB 3.0DT Commercial |
