and that includes any factory tint so most modern cars can't take any tint on the fronts without becoming illegal.  My pickup has heavy tints on the side windows and tbh it's bloody lethal after dark at junctions as you really can't see well.

Have a good think about tinted windows before you go for it!
Mine has "privacy glass" as they put it, and night time driving is awfull! I would never have another car that is tinted as dark as mine is now. You can barley see the reversing lights at night Crying or Very sad

Cheers

I had my fronts tinted at 20% which is technically illegal - however you cannot really tell all it does is add a tiny tint to it - but means you cannot have someone smash and grab

You can get clear anti smash film if thats what you want.  Just remember, in the event of an accident its a lot harder for someone to smash the windows and get you out, not good if you're stuck in a burning car!

They have to let 70% light in so i think a 20% tint would be ok. By the way i don't know about private vehicles but the powers that be can confiscate cars until the owner gets the windows back to a legal shade. We got away with it once but had to rip the tint off the two front/side windows on a chevvy limo.

You can still smash the glass just a scumbag trying to get in would have probs - work similar to Windscreen.  (i wanted a slight tint Smile )
