Hi

i think the temp sender on by 1995  3.1 td is faulty ,its the brass one with the wires going into the top encased is a rubbery seal, is faulty .
If i disconect it and place an ohm meter across it there is no change hot or cold it just measures no resistance ?
has any one got any figures  in volts  ohms  or even the temps it should change ?(might be able to find a cheaper replacement .
Could this affect my lack of overdrive ?
Any part number for this ?

Also once this is sorted intend to fit electric fan ,whats the best easiest to fit ?

Cheers and happy new year to all.........

Possibly was.  It should shift more than enough air to cool a diesel.
