could be the rail pressure sensor or the fuel draining back, has it got the non return valve fitted? if not try clamping off the fuel return line and see if it makes any difference |

thanks eithan h no there is know non return fitted also the fuel filter housing is non standard (boged) so I have got replacement fuel filter housing along with the new starter will now try putting a non return in @ same time (cheep and Can’t hurt even if not necessary).
If this and getting the injector recall done, do not work, I will look into rail pressure sensor. |

Have just talked to IM
They said that they had asked dealers to just check oil level and if OK just change oil and advise owner to keep an eye on level this was because of a shortage of stock.
They say there is now no shortage and the dealer will now replace them.
However the dealer (GMD Durham) never asked me to watch level, and if they changed the oil, it did not look any cleaner and filterers had not been changed, as I had to heat one of the belly plate bolts when I got round to changing the oil only a week or two later.
So any suggestions for a more reliable dealer would be appreciated. |
