injector failure after recal

bad news time after watching the oil level after the recal was done 18 months ago the oil level is now rising , took it to my local dealer and they confimed diesel in sump. am i just unlucky or has anyone else had this problem .to add to my problems they have given up the isuzu franchise , to many problems with them they told me , i understood the recal was a final fix not so sure now , any help or advise welcome .

It can happen to any diesel engine if the bores / rings are worn... can't comment it happening to any other 3.0's though Sad

would not expect that kind of wear on my  isuzu its only done 18800 miles

your just unlucky i think has it had the sleeves replaced as well it's a bit unusual for the modded injectors to leak

It would be worth having Isuzu check that if the vehicle needs Sleeves. Just out of wonder what year is the vehcile?

check on the seat belts as there should be a label witht eh date stamped on it when it wa built

if an early vehicle made before 2000 then likey could need sleeves not always case tho just something i've noticed while doing work
