i was the only trooper there and i had to pull out a few people luckly never got stuck my self but had a very very good day highly recomended i am also going to the boxgrove one on march the 9th hope to see a few more troopers there.
the only problem with slindon is there are a few very deep puddles (lakes) and i have no snorkel but it just kept going even though it was coming over the bonnet and the inside was bone dry which was good news, but the sandy muddy water has caused a problem with my charging but should have that sorted soon.
if you need to know where it is just go to www.4x4driving.co.uk it is a really good day out. |

Sounds like you had a good time upholding the trooper name Any pics?
I would have a look at the oil in the diffs and g-box/transfer case, also wheel bearings after wading in deep water (silt can kill a diff in no time) _________________ Front Aussie Locker - Rear LSD - Petrol Diffs

i got my mate to film it but most of it is of the dash or there is to much swearing, next time we go i will get him out of the car to do some good filming the i will post it on you tube or some thing.
i will check them cheers.
every thing else seems alright i am still having to fix my two mates cars that come with me same problems i think i might stay out of the water next time.
are you going to come to the next one (boxgrove) i dont think it is as big as slindon and hopfully slightly different terrain. |
