Have you greased the caliper sliders recently?

Also the load valve can tend to get full of *beep* (speaking from mk1 experience but would imagine the same) so may be worth bleeding it out a few times to flush it out. I guess this could cause an imbalance???

It's the front to rear bias I'm sure which means that your load adjuster may be kyboshed, a pretty common fault I believe. I don't have one so can't offer any pearls of wisdom I'm afraid. I thought my brakes were bad enough but never a comment from the MOT station, so what must yours be like?  Confused

An mot tester on another forum says it's left to right and he wouldn't normally advise on anything under 25%, 16% is fairly common on a wide range of cars and won't cause it to pull.  I'm going to give the calipers another clean up and grease tomorrow when I change the oil.  If it doesn't rain I'll do the HID conversion too.

Never heard of that but I suppose it makes sense. I guess I've been lucky.....

What's the difference between a Trooper and a Bighorn given the same year the same mileage and similar spec? I would have to say salt.

Just changed the oil and stripped and regreased the front calipers, both were very stiff and dry again so hopefully they should be better again.  I really need new rubber bellows as a couple are split, can you buy these?
