Have you greased the caliper sliders recently?
Also the load valve can tend to get full of *beep* (speaking from mk1 experience but would imagine the same) so may be worth bleeding it out a few times to flush it out. I guess this could cause an imbalance??? _________________ Front Aussie Locker - Rear LSD - Petrol Diffs

It's the front to rear bias I'm sure which means that your load adjuster may be kyboshed, a pretty common fault I believe. I don't have one so can't offer any pearls of wisdom I'm afraid. I thought my brakes were bad enough but never a comment from the MOT station, so what must yours be like? _________________ 1999 Cougar with a NICE motor..

An mot tester on another forum says it's left to right and he wouldn't normally advise on anything under 25%, 16% is fairly common on a wide range of cars and won't cause it to pull. I'm going to give the calipers another clean up and grease tomorrow when I change the oil. If it doesn't rain I'll do the HID conversion too. _________________ Phil

Never heard of that but I suppose it makes sense. I guess I've been lucky.....
What's the difference between a Trooper and a Bighorn given the same year the same mileage and similar spec? I would have to say salt. _________________ 1999 Cougar with a NICE motor..

Just changed the oil and stripped and regreased the front calipers, both were very stiff and dry again so hopefully they should be better again. I really need new rubber bellows as a couple are split, can you buy these? _________________ Phil
