isuzu reccomend 5w 30 fully synthetic with a change every 6000 or 6 months whichever is first

If it's the 3.0 it wants 5w30.

I put 15w40 in mine and not synthetic.

It's the 30 bit as well m8, the 3.0 demands 5w30, but the 3.1 recommendation is a 10w40 or a 15w40, for this country anyway. You are getting a bit thin in a 3.1.

i use 15w40 semi synth in my 3.1 and in all the troops/bighorns i service and never had a problem even down to -15

i rang the isuzu dealers in sheffield and thats what they reccomend

i was worried with the new turbo and they suggested i rang isuzu to keep the warranty use what they told me to

heres my way of thinking...................5w 30



its horrible weather at the moment very cold sometimes freezing

the troop does 4 miles in a morning and 4 miles at night generally thats it

the fuel efficiancy is *beep*!! but i dont care i know itll get me to work and back every day whatever the weather


because its soooo cold and doesnt get chance to properly warm up i think the thin oil is good and its only gonna stay in there 6 months so about april it will be changed with a thicker grade then back to thin for the winter
