What a great day!  Very Happy
Big thanks to Matt for organising the day, chris, Paul and everyone else for the spotting, jacking and rock shifting.  Laughing

started out with a run up Chinley steps, which turned out to be more challenging than people expected, quite slippy.
Then across to pindale for a play, and a round of applause for Baddoo, (Bloody paj!)  Rolling Eyes  Laughing
Then to Stanage. down hill posed no problem. we turned round and came back up. eveyone got up. unfortunately not all went up unaided  Rolling Eyes
I needed a bit of jiggery pokery with the hi-lift to get up, too much fresh air under the wheels, and not enough rock  Laughing
Then to the foxhouse, where we met up with Celtic and Gothic for a run across houndkirk in the dark, and back to the foxhouse for drinks and a bite to eat.

All in all a bostin day!  Very Happy

pics to follow

 Very Happy

Thanks to Matt for organising the laning yesterday.

Naturally the ISUZU's and  the ISUZU in disguise were out shone by Mitsubishi's finest but we wont gloat about it, its normal.  Wink

Stanage was a surprise, one group made it up in next to no time and one took considerably longer and had many spectators. I even heard one of them say something like "Well I can't stay here all day" while Keith was beached before carry on walking (she could have stayed I didn't mind  Embarassed  Laughing  Laughing)

As for Pindale I was as surprised as everyone the Paj made it and wouldn't normally have even tried having seen so many fail but peer pressure won... and I'm glad it did  Wink

As for the steps at Chinley  Shocked they seem to have gotten a bit bigger since the last time I went up them but that only made them more interesting and fun.

Nice to see you all! some new people and some from other meets Very Happy

I am glad everyone enjoyed themselves. I was a bit concerned there were so few lanes, but it was more about getting seven trucks up stanage before dark! and I think the dark run over houndkirk was worth the wait Cool

Also thanks to stumpyjoe for the tyre Very Happy

My pics are here.

P.S. the first 6 pics (all of Keith's truck) don't show up in opera. My brother looked into this and said that the code for the web photo gallery is fairly shocking!
