there seem to be a major issue concerning the reliability of the cylinder heads on the isuzu 3.0 trooper, early failure of the head on a 4x4 most people would buy regarding them to give trouble free motoring. the response i get from most when told a 3litre diesel engine fails after 60-90k is " i thought they ran for ever " WRONG most do but it seems isuzu are a bit lacking in this department. seeing as this is such a widespread problem on the 3.0 trooper surely there can be some action taken against isuzu for the cost of replacement (should it be a recall issue ). i am currently investigating this issue and any help would be appreciated. also if you have suffered from this problem please reply as getting as many names and veiws could be an important factor.

Hi, my Citation 3.oTD currently in garage (5 weeks so far) they seem to have a problem diagnosing the problem, but now suspect a cracked head. Will keep you informed. Evil or Very Mad
