Hi whats the code and size for the batterys you have used on the near side. I have the second battery tray fit and the split charger but only have a small battery in it at the moment (just found the corect clamp which is to big for the excisting battery)  need the bigest battery that will fit it.

Sorry - should say, 069's are the factory fitted size for twin batteries.

That's a varta 069

http://www.carbatteryshop.co.uk/i-Type-069-Varta-Asia-Car-Battery-12V-70Ah-Short-Code-E24-Varta-DIN-570-138-057-or-570-413-063-I3213.html

Siwebs done an after market conversion so might well be using 'non stock' batteries for a twin set up.

If you have factory fitted twin batteries they don't have a split charger, rather they run in parellel.

Hi Mick, I got the biggest battery that a could fit in, if you look closely at the N/S one i've re bent the bracket so to fit over the top of the battery as these battery are a little to big Wink but I wanted the power, plus my brother in-law works as a sparky for Volvo trucks and he got em me at the right price.. kinda fell of the back of a lorry Laughing  Laughing
