why did you need 2 battorys mate? where you having probs starting her? reason i ask is i have a bighorn and it has 1 battory and a silly 50amp alternator Rolling Eyes but -10c she starts first time evey time. is it a peace of mind thing? if so i can see where you are comming from there Cool  Wink

Hi flower man, i fitted the second battery for peace of mind for starting as the split charger i have allows me to link both batteries to jump start my self if needed, and also for the extra lights and inverter, c.b radio, electric cool box ect that i run

At the moment i'm running my coolbox 8-10 hrs a day, and occasionally recharging my laser level & detector with my inverter without starting my troop, it has 2 batterys and i find them excelent for starting heavy pant & tractors Wink

Couldn't do that with my caddy van, i wouldn't even get to the machine, never mind start it Rolling Eyes
