hi all, thought i would put this question to you Very Happy
performance chips or remaping the ecu on petrol motors seem to have good results in increacing bhp and torque (25 too 40 bhp in some cases) i can understand ruffly why this is acheaved through time and amount of fuel delivery but can anyonr tell my why you can get more out of high performance cars? why are they not mapped to produce the max when they come off the production line or am i missing somthing?  your thoughts will be welcome.

cost!
heres a good website to find out more. this company is based in chorley, and you will see it advertised in lots of mags. my mate took his trooper there and had a chip fitted. and reckons its money well spent. it also exlains your question better than i can.
