the Dmax should only have 10w/40 semi synthetic oil used in the engine  i get my oil from my vauxhall dealer i did ask isuzu about 5w/30 fully synthetic and was told not to use it ,,,,, in the 3.0l it takes about 7l of oil

The 3.0 in the Rodeo is a different engine to the 3.0 in the Trooper... the reason the Trooper needs 5w30 is to run the injection system

Sambos

the torque of the sump plug is 33 foot pound / 45 nm ,,  also it is best to change the oil every 6000 miles ,isuzu uk said it is 12000 miles ,, i change my oil every 3000 miles as i am of the old school clean oil is best as it is the life blood of the engine
all of my customer do the same and have a 6month/ 6000 oil change

here is a small tip when changing the oil filter on the Dmax / rodeo ,,,get an A4 bit of card and fold it in half length ways then push it up under the oil filter ,now when you remove the filter the oil runs down the card and not over the front diff housing
