yes, a fantastic little lane, its a good meeting point for the north west area, just for the day like, there is a cafe/restaurant all family type of thing and to top off the day you can have a go of up and down the lane Wink

The top is easy to find, drive up georges lane Horwich (opposite the jolly crofters pub) and keep going right up to the tower(pike) keep to the left and the top of the lane is there, it takes you down to a car park nr rivington village.

Ive spent over 2 hours up there this morning putting things back to normal, some kind person had moved rocks to make deep damaging potholes and also put some sharp rocks in strategic places  Rolling Eyes
I bet they had woolie hats  Evil or Very Mad

I'm glad I found it and not some unexpecting mountain biker  Shocked

WELL DONE

If everyone left lanes in a good state after they've been over them, then a lot of the anti 4x4's would spend less time making life hard...

Also leaving a lane in a complete mess, spinning wheels to get no where... it's not doing anyone any favours.

One of the things they had done is remove rubble from infront of one of the steps at the top, making a large but passable step into a deathtrap, another was sharp rocks wedged into the walls of the rutts  Evil or Very Mad
Funny thing is that walkers use the footpath at the side of the lane  Rolling Eyes
