hi i have a 51 plate 3.0ltr rs every thing works except it will not start
glow plug lights work then go out fuel gets through oil pressure builds when cranking
it was stolen and recovered and has been stood with no batteries for over 12 months any clues?

First off have you filled it with 5W30 grade oil? If not I would suggest an oil change...

The next course of action to try is fill the oil to the max then add an extra 2 litres - if it fires up then you need to change the oil strainer in the sump. If this doesnt work then drain the extra oil out (if it does work fit a new strainer and refill oil to max level).

well after charging new batteries and putting charger on jump start
i finally got it to fire up let it run for a few minutes very smoky then stopped it
it did not want to start again will try jump starting again to morrow
im in westhoughton 07976951855 cheerz
