can anyone tell me what millage the cam belt needs to be done the owners manual says 12500 my mate says 60000 ???

Are you sure that the manual says 12500? I'd guess at 60K or 6 years which ever is sooner.

the service book definatly says it needs doing at 60,000 as I had mine done last year.
