Rings?
Where is the breather coming from? could be the valve stem seals if its a rocker cover breather. _________________ Front Aussie Locker - Rear LSD - Petrol Diffs

cars normally have some sort of oil catch tank to stop the big drops of oil in the air that comes up that tube, some times it's a proper tank other times it's just a plate that the air has to move around and the oil gathers on the bottom of it and drips back to the sump.
is the pipe joined in to anything or is it straight from engine to intake? |

Could be a cracked piston liner, I had exactly the same problem on the trooper, Unfortunately a different engine solved the proble m. _________________ 1997 3.1 commercial, bit of a lift, big knobbly tyres and more dints than last weekend |

Fit an oil catch tank on breather pipe, won't cost much and should be easy enough to fit, it will buy you some time until you can afford to fix engine _________________ 2011 3.0l Hilux Invincible

Just make sure the catch tank is well baffled or it won't stop the problem _________________ 1994 KZJ70 Cruiser (currently filling the garage and causing some head scratching)
