was going to mount my cb under my cd player in the dash (where the plastic resessed holder is) problem is it seems to b fitted from the back of the dash as in the flanged edges are behind the dash surface thus stopping me pulling it forward to remove anyone any ideas or other mounting places Confused

i tried to pull mine out and had the same prob, you have to take the centre console wi the radio apart to get at the screws that hold the plastic bit in, i left the screws and brackets out so i can pop the cb or the plastic holder back in when needed, only prob is with my rig its almost too long to sit in the gap decent as it keeps hitting the gearstick if your not careful, need to finf somewere else to put mine
