i've got a bottle of wynn's injector cleaner and a new fuel filter ready to 'clean up my act' before putting the trooper in for the MOT.  i'm going to fill the fuel filter holder with the neat injector cleaner to give the injectors a good blast through, rather than mix it into the fuel tank.  but what's the best way to do this?...

1. do the injector cleaner flush through with the old fuel filter in place and then change the fuel filter?

or

2. put the new fuel filter in first and then do the injector flush through?
