I bought a "new" alternator from this regular seller on e-bay in January 2008, It was advertised as having a years warranty. It went faulty over a month ago, It has taken so long for him to get back to me and only after I put an add in e-bay about his service, that I have had to buy another replacement.  I had the faulty one checked by an auto electrician who confirmed the unit was not charging, and when the other one I just bought, was fitted everything on the vehicle was back to normal with no other fault being found. Although the original sale went smoothly it would appear he does not want to honour his years warranty.

I bought my second one from ELECTROSTART 2006   He offers a non quibble warranty and if it goes faulty he will send off a replacement without waiting for the faulty on to be returned, now thats what I call a service a bit more expensive but worth it .
