|
|
I've the chance of a cheap 2.8 Frontera, which looks pretty reasonable, new brakes, tyres, clutch and some mot. My query is, if I take it as a plaything, are there cheaper options regarding insurance, limited mileage or so forth. Any recommendations? _________________ Every time I learn something new, it pushes some old stuff from out of my brain.

Thanks, how does it work, in regards to no claims if you have another main vehicle, can you only have bonus on one? Gotta keep costs down to appease the wife! _________________ Every time I learn something new, it pushes some old stuff from out of my brain.

I Have a classic limited mileage and guaranteed payout on the VehiCROSS £360 this includes recovery etc
- classic policies have no no claims or stuff just a yearly policy each year
very good but they do need piccies for the guarenteed payout
cheers

Only NCD on the main vehicle, upto 1 year on the MU now... limited millage keeps the cost down though. _________________ For great insurance deals on 4x4s, imports and more, contact Adrian Flux :

You'll get 2 NCD's going though, so kinda handy in a weird way? I've 7 and 1 at the mo, If I have to make a claim, I can at least keep one of them. _________________ For great insurance deals on 4x4s, imports and more, contact Adrian Flux :

What level of cover was the MU, for that money? _________________ Every time I learn something new, it pushes some old stuff from out of my brain.

3rd Party F&T Fully comp isn't worth it on a toy IMO - it's going to get dented anyway... and I personally use a lump hammer to straighten it back out _________________ For great insurance deals on 4x4s, imports and more, contact Adrian Flux :

Pleasantly surprised, Sureterm quote £190 TFT, for 5,000 miles, and 10% loading for mods, but includes green lane and off roading. Adrian Flux same cover not worried about mods, £ 171 for 3,000 miles. _________________ Every time I learn something new, it pushes some old stuff from out of my brain.
