hi to anyone reading this , i,ve been a trooper 3.1 diesel owner for 5 years  & find it a superb vehicle , i service it myself and have only had to change starter & alternator and fitted a new clutch which i,ve managed to do on my back in my garage . i,m a c.n.c. machinist by trade with access to milling turning and fabricating equipment i can also mig weld which has helped me fabricate and fit front and rear crossmembers . my latest  project (got to have something to keep me sane)is a 3.2 v6 1996 citation lpg converted from eebuygum with headgasket gone , i,ve stripped it and skimmed the heads , refitted with new idler (£26 plus vat) tensioner bearing + belt and service, but can,t get it started. the engine check light is staying on + the 3 pin diagnosis is only showing code 12 when flashing which on your forums sounds ok , i don,t know if lpg ecu is causing engine check light to be confused or what ! any suggestions !! steve
