to me that would be wheel bearing noise, or could be some brake pads its one or the other

wheel bearings easy to check if you jack up the car and get hold of the wheel and wiggle it, if it moves other than round and round you got problems and if you are sure the nuts are tight enough then thats what is causing the problem

one thing for sure til you find out what it is then you shouldnt drive it, just about anything could happen, see my thread, 2 tonne dont stop very quickly and one thing for sure you could end up killing someone if anything should happen.

Check the bearings, it could be prop joints going/gone, diff even a binding on brake can cause it, jack the wheels up and have a spin and a wobble. again don't drive it until you've checked it  H

if front it rules the back diff out, check bearings, brakes for binding, propshaft, wheels tight?

Mines started doing the same today. a buzzing vibration type noise. It does it in gear, out of gear, and even with the engine switched off. but doesn't do it at slow speeds. only really when decelerating.

Can't make out wether its the mk4 arches rattling, the wind whistling through the rack and spots, or something more serious.  Confused

not checked the UJ's yet. i'm hoping its something simple.
