Does anybody have the correct size for the belt that drives the alternator and waterpump/fan, I have picked two up today and both are wrong, one was 13x? and the other 17x? I'm pretty sure it should be 15x?

Air con, wrong belt
17.5x1030 for the fan belt. It will be the same as a mk1 too. _________________ Front Aussie Locker - Rear LSD - Petrol Diffs

Cheers Matt,
The one I have here is a 17x1050 which is but a cough what you said, It just looks to short to go around the 3 pulleys
I think I best get the tailors tape measure out. _________________ |

It's 20mm longer... It should be an easy fit. Mine needed levering on with a screw driver but fits fine when on. _________________ Front Aussie Locker - Rear LSD - Petrol Diffs

Finally fitted it today and its not tight enough, it doesnt slip but given a choice now I would go for 17x1040 or 1030.
Funny how they list the 1050
It took me 2 blummin hours with a 12mm spanner a 14mm spanner and an axe (not many tools left I have a 11yr old lad)
Cracked the 3 14mm mounting bolts on the power steering pump and wound the adjuster off to get that belt off.
then cracked the 12mm that holds the alternator to the adjuster and wound out the 12mm adjuster bolt, used the axe handle to force the alternator back because the bottom bolt needs a small child with the stength of popeye to undo.
Then put it all back together
Trooper 1 belt
