What the... Insurance not available for a car??? Heard of companies tightening up on things but that sounds very odd.
Can get insurance for anything here. I've stuck with the same company since my first car. Reason I chose them in the first place was the were logical - other companies said my 1988 Trooper at the time with a 2.6 litre petrol engine was "high performance" _________________ 1996 Mazda B2500 |

I worked with a Kiwi guy who was amazed at how much we pay for insurance over here when he opted out of having a company car and bought a brand new Alfa 75 3.0 cloverleaf. Over here a lot of insurance companies specialise in a specific area i.e. family cars or high performance. I had to change insurers when I went from a 1.6L MK1 Cavalier to an Alfasud as they wouldn't cover me. _________________ Phil

Also the Bighorn is a "grey import" they dont meet EU standard specs so some companys wont touch them, same goes for getting spare parts from some main dealers. _________________ |
