by its cold outside tonight.

just been out to check, there is no "CHECK 4WD"  on the instrument panel... my guess is that the guy's removed the bulb.

probably but the worst thing is if you fix the motor you then have to clear the memory on the ecu by using 2 pieces of wire to connect 4 pins together under the drivers seat total pain in the ass job!

so is the motor under the truck ?

is it on the back of the gearbox?

dead easy 3 bolts and thats it give it a pull as it seals on an o ring and there is a master spline so it can only go on one way

well I have removed the motor and it is actually working!!!

anymore ideas?

can anybody tell me what the vacuum pipe does thats also attached to the motor?
