Its a SCSI drive, you have to go into the setup and select boot options and then set it as the first boot option. _________________ |

Before you start formatting stuff, Steve has a good point, you should be able to boot in safe mode and remove the update that is causing the problem.
Ive done about 9 now that farked up with the xp sp3 update, and yes they was in a constant reboot cycle _________________ |

Are you trying to format the drive then reinstall windows then? Or is there data on there you need first?
If you don't need any of the stuff off it then a reformat would be my choice, start from a clean slate. Bear in mind you will need all the drivers for the bored and cards though... _________________ Front Aussie Locker - Rear LSD - Petrol Diffs

You should try holding F8 after the bios has loaded to enter safe mode, then go to "programs - accessories - system tools - system restore", this will allow you to back date OS before the update was installed . Saying that if you have already tryed to re-install windows, you might of already screwed up the start up files. |
