i just bought a 94 trooper 3.1 from auction. as i know nothing about these motors i could do with a bit of advice please.
1.. what is this ive read about recalls and is mine up for a recall?
2.. i have a squealing under the bonnet, im pretty sure its not the alternator bearings as its still chargeing fine. its soposed to of had a new water pump last june, new clutch, cambelt, fitted july.
does anyone have a clue please thanks |

Don't worry about recalls on your model.
Slack auxiliary belt? Alternator will still charge with bearings gone. Aircon compressor? Can you give any more description? Does it vary with engine speed, go off when warm or anything else you can think of? |

the noise seems to be in tune with the revs if you know what i mean. but i think ive sussed it as a loose belt.
i am try ing to find a pair of back seat belts if you know of any?
mine seem to have been moused though. mot due and local scapyards are emty. thanks for your help |
