My hubby has a good friend in a local C&C he pops him a few beers and it's a good trade for shed loads of SVO but we haven't been running it over winter brrr now it's starting to warm up again we are starting to mix it again but only very lightly .... roll on summer woohooo last year it worked out with mixing SVO & Derv it was costing about 65p per ltr nearly as good as LPG mmm our 3.1 bighorn is the dogs danglies and by far the best motor we have ever owned and as it only cost us 550 squidlies the cheapest by far .. it romped through its MOT and we have had many many miles both on road and off even if she dies the death i will be getting another one.
Regarding your question mathew now please correct me someone if i'm wrong but you can legally use upto 2.500 ltrs per year which is classed as alternative fuels

not sure if you have seen my listing but had my '93' 3.1td auto bighorn converted by dieselveg , wolverhamton nearly three years ago and run on pure svo in main tank and have a seperate 25ltr tank in boot for start up and turn off , runs brilliantly on it and smells much better than diesel , car has just over 235000 km on it now , follow normal sevice schedule etc no problems . Even over winter down to -7 c
