Hi all,
How many people actuall use their CB when on days out?

Im slowly sorting my troop and intend to take it out as much as possible. Just wondering if i should save space for a CB if they are actually used on days out.

Whats peoples opinions on this?

Cheers, Muddy

If im out on a 4x4 laning or play day - always! Same goes for travelling in convoy with mates..... CB's are soo handy even if its for the "pull off at next services... I need KFC" type shouts  Twisted Evil

Mine's a Bighorn and I had to bin the Jap stereo so I had a bit of a sort out with a concealed radio and the CB then fits in the top of the rack like so. Depends on if any tea leaves operate in your area though.... If I was in a high risk area I would want to remove it as if you have a permanent aerial fitted it's a bit of a giveaway just like a Sat Nav holder...

Yes, it's almost essential for laning and off roading 'cos mobiles don't always work...

Midland Alan tri band with twig and speaker was £100 delivered. Googled the Net and found a package deal....

Just a point, a mag mount sounds like a good idea for the twig, but in reality you will wipe it straight off on some lanes. The 'Springers" work fine and handle any abuse even Tesco car parks! (Their fluorescent lights don't stand up too well though Laughing )
