Does anyone know of any good Isuzu dealers who will supply parts to people like me who have import Isuzus
As every time i try to order parts and i cannot give them a UK chassis or registration number then they dont want to deal with me.
The vehicle now isn't worth the value to keep shipping parts from Japan, and I either need to fix it or scrap it. |

just spoke to Emg, seam more helpful than most, but still cannot help without the VIN
which i dont have, as car is at mums, but at least they will e-mail japan to sort part numbers out etc
tried japteck (www.japtech.co.uk) but just get a continuous tone
oh well, guess i'll have to wait till i can get the VIN off the car (V5 is with the car)
will let you know how i get on |

If anyone needs Isuzu parts and are willing to pay the shipping from the US, Jerry Lemond is a retired Isuzu Engineer who has special rights to sell factory Isuzu parts. He also stocks many difficult, obsolete and hard to find parts for the Isuzu Pup's and Troopers. He resides on the IsuzuPUP dot com forum. You will need to register on the site to send Jerry a PM. His user name is JLemond. No VIN or registration number required to buy parts.
I will post some links to my "Super Trooper Restoration" Thread on the forum as soon as I get the privileges to do so. I'm still a newbie. I'm also going through the pain of converting to a 4JG2 diesel. I will love the improved mileage. It will be worth it in the end.

Can you use someone else’s ID (we call them VIN in the states) which has the same options as your Truck? -Gary |

The thing is before you just said what part for what year and engine and you got the part now unless you got a reg or vin number they cant give you part. The new system has made parts people thick its rare to find an old skool autoparts that can still do that
Cause mine is an import it comes up as a 2001 despte been a 1990 on. G REG |
