I'm on 3 mobile broadband and its ok unless its prime time, 4pm - 9pm then it goes on a go slow, the Argos website doesnt work properly and the daily mail one wont load at all.
I got a better connection by not using the new software it prompts you to install, that was just a pain with the my 3 home page loading everytime there was a connection loss
What sort of connection do you get, I only get 2-3 bars and it keeps switching between 3G and HSDPA, its fine when it stays on one but freezes if it switches during a page load.
I'm thinking of getting a lil arial for the dongle as it has a slot for one _________________

The annoying thing on this site is when I do get a connection loss allbeit say a couple of seconds I lose all the orange flags for new posts
This is because its cookie based and not held on the database. _________________

Agree Mark about the peak times overload / go-slow. Can be really bad around 6-7pm.
If you try calling 3 to complain about connectivity / speed you just get a foreign call centre who take you through a preset flowchart that presumes your PC is at fault when you KNOW it's the 3 network. And at the end they ask you to try the modem in a different area.........a different room? you ask.................er,no, a different POSTCODE!! yeah right - I'm gonna be driving around with my PC in the car and an inverter to power it.
I've given up & don't bother trying to do anything important during the early evening - it's fine off-peak. _________________ 2001 3.0 DT LWB Duty - Dragon Green Metallic.

Be a lot faster if we all had fibre optics though....
I'm sure copper wires are great if you live within 50 metres of an exchange and you pay for guaranteed bandwidth... _________________ 1999 Cougar with a NICE motor..
